If you are like me, are over thirty, and/or love the Goodwill and yard sale shopping, you may have a lot of décor that has a gold appearance. With all the mercury glass and silver & grey décor in vogue right now, I wanted to find a solution to my “gold problem” without spending a lot of money.
My solution was found in a bees-wax-based metallic rub called Inka-Gold, made by Viva Decor, and priced at just $6.99 at Jo-Ann Fabrics. Fabulous things come in small packages and this little jar of paint is no exception, transforming everything from picture frames to wall sconces. The bonus is that it is quite easy, fast, and fun to do as you jazz up your décor!
